If your dog’s behaviour is causing stress, confusion, or worry, you’re not alone. When behaviour feels intense, unpredictable, or difficult to manage, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed especially when advice online and elsewhere is conflicting.
Behaviour is communication, not disobedience. When dogs struggle, there is always a reason behind it.
My work focuses on understanding what is driving behaviour rather than trying to suppress what is seen on the surface. I consider emotional wellbeing, physical comfort, learning history, and environment, and where appropriate I use Dynamic Dog® functional and gait assessments and work alongside your veterinary team to ensure physical factors are explored.
I provide clear, ethical, evidence-based guidance, grounded in current research and tailored to your dog and your situation. My role is to cut through the noise and help you move forward with confidence, without judgement or quick-fix approaches.
All support is welfare-led, individual to the dog and family and delivered collaboratively. I do not use techniques or equipment that rely on fear, pain, or intimidation.
Behavioural concerns I commonly support.
